Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi is battling the Coronavirus. On Saturday, Shahid Afridi had informed about his Kovid being found positive. Along with this, prayers were also sought from fans. Afridi on Sunday thanked all those who have prayed for his early recovery from Kovid-19.

Afridi tweeted, “Thank you to those who are praying for my recovery and sending me a message.” Thank you very much to all of you. Please be safe and help the needy in this difficult time. Lots of love to all of you.

Afridi tweeted, “I was not feeling well since Thursday. My body was in a lot of pain. I got my test done and unfortunately my test came positive. Prayers needed for a quick recovery. Insha-Allah.”

Former Indian opener Gautam Gambhir prayed for Afridi’s early recovery. He said, “Nobody gets affected by this virus. I have political differences with Afridi but I want to see him healthy as soon as possible. Not only Afridi, I want that anyone who has been infected with this virus in my country should get well soon.

Afridi had been continuously helping people in Karachi ever since the corona virus knocked in Pakistan. Afridi not only provided food to thousands of people in difficult times, but also distributed masks to protect against viruses.

Australia’s October T20 series against the West Indies The Calling-19 epidemic has affected the international sports calendar due to the postponement of the T20 World Cup in Australia in November and this month. There is an ODI series against Zimbabwe.

Cricket Australia said the purpose of the three-match West Indies series was to practice for the T20 World Cup, but could no longer meet that purpose. “In light of this development … matches were postponed … agreed to do so.”

Earlier, the India-Australia T20 series in October was canceled. It has not been decided whether the T20 series between India and Australia will be held again. Cricket Australia recently applied to India to play a T20 series in the December-January tour.

The Australian team could be seen playing at their home ground at the end of November. A Test match will be played between Australia and Afghanistan from November 21 to November 25. Australia recently canceled a series against New Zealand and Zimbabwe this month.
