T20 series between Australia and the West Indies has been canceled
Australia’s October T20 series against the West Indies The Calling-19 epidemic has affected the international sports calendar due to the postponement of the T20 World Cup in Australia in November and this month. There is an ODI series against Zimbabwe.
Cricket Australia said the purpose of the three-match West Indies series was to practice for the T20 World Cup, but could no longer meet that purpose. “In light of this development … matches were postponed … agreed to do so.”
Earlier, the India-Australia T20 series in October was canceled. It has not been decided whether the T20 series between India and Australia will be held again. Cricket Australia recently applied to India to play a T20 series in the December-January tour.
The Australian team could be seen playing at their home ground at the end of November. A Test match will be played between Australia and Afghanistan from November 21 to November 25. Australia recently canceled a series against New Zealand and Zimbabwe this month.
