Is it right to organize IPL in UAE?
With the announcement of the IPL event, everyone including fans and sponsors can be seen happy who is associated with the IPL. Sri Lanka also offered for IPL but BCCI opted for UAE. The reason behind this is that once before in the UAE, some IPL matches were played. The initial phase of the IPL was held in the UAE when the 2014 Lok Sabha elections were going on in India. The grounds of Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah have a distinct identity in world cricket. In Sharjah, there were many encounters between India and Pakistan in the nineties. The stadiums of Dubai and Abu Dhabi were built later.
The UAE is a country with state-of-the-art facilities where there will be no problem in carrying out all the security measures against the coronavirus. Apart from this, players can travel by buses in all the three grounds there. Due to not being far away, these cities will not have to face difficulties during traffic. Apart from this, the UAE has world-class accommodation facilities.
There should not be rain in IPL
Sri Lanka is a country bordering the sea where one can face the problem of rain. In the UAE, on the other hand, it rarely rains. In such a situation, the possibility of rain disturbances during the matches will be very less. Teams, including the BCCI, also want that all the matches should be completed. The UAE can be called the best place in this case.

Keeping in view the social distance, if viewers are allowed to come, then there are a large number of Indians in the UAE. There the IPL is particularly liked, so the role of UAE also becomes important. When there is IPL in India, in the evening, people leave the offices early for home and sit in front of the TV. Apart from this, the day also begins with the discussion of matches held in offices the previous night. Due to all these things, organizing the IPL in the UAE can be called a right decision.
