PCB Reprimands Mohammad Hafeez for breaching the testing protocols

Pakistan’s veteran player Mohammad Hafeez on Wednesday surprised everyone by calling the test of corona virus negative on personal ability. He is one of the 10 players to be found positive for coronavirus in the first leg of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Test before the tour of England. Hafeez also took to Twitter to share his report and now the PCB is not happy with him at all.

Board CEO Wasim Khan spoke to the experienced cricketer on Wednesday to clarify this. During the conversation, they were told that they should have talked to the PCB before taking any such action by reducing the test protocol. Khan also said that this is not the first time that Hafeez has violated the rules, especially when it comes to social media.

Khan further said that, “He has no central contract, but once he is selected for the Pakistan team, he has to follow the rules and regulations for all the players, especially related to social media usage. We are still looking into this matter because it has caused us a lot of trouble. ”

After Mohammad Hafeez’s negative test, the PCB has decided to test all 29 players again. The negative tests that were conducted are in Lahore and will go through their second leg test on Thursday, while the 10 players and one support staff, who are there, will be tested at their home today.
