The UEFA Video Executive Committee on what 4.3 million euros will be spent

Published

on

The fate of UEFA’s € 4.3 million financial support to fight the consequences of the coronavirus for the UAF will be decided after May 27.

UAF Secretary General Yuri Zapisotsky said.

“As far as I know, there will still be a UEFA Video Executive Committee on May 27, where all regulations will be finally approved, including – what this money can be used for.

So far, this money has been virtual. Neither the timing nor the funding process are set. We still don’t know exactly how much money and what can be spent. We’ll find out more about it in UEFA’s press releases.

It is important to understand that there is no physical money yet. UEFA has said it will help, announcing the amount of these funds – 4.3 million for each association. As we discussed at the last general secretaries’ video conference, since this is the money of the hat-trick program, another hat-trick committee will be convened, then there will also be the UEFA executive committee, and after that there will be a thorough understanding. As soon as there is a clear work plan, we will be happy to comment on what we can do and who can help, ”said Yuri Zapisotsky.

It has already been reported that the leadership of the Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) has not yet decided where to send the money (EUR 4.3 million) received from UEFA to combat the consequences of the corona virus.

All football competitions in Ukraine were suspended in March due to the coronavirus pandemic. The clubs had two weeks to prepare before the games resumed.

After 23 rounds of the Favbet League, Shakhtar leads. The pitmen are 13 points ahead of Dawn. Dynamo closes the three and gives Luhansk face-to-face meetings.
