Sennheiser HD450BT Review | Great for Work, and Play

Priced at Rs 14,990, the Senhizer HD450BT is a good value for money headphones that offers top-end audio quality, noise cancellation, and voice support.
Headphones that offer noise-canceling, great audio quality, and clear calling capabilities have suddenly become a necessity and are no longer a luxury. Lockdown is a way of life, with our small, often noisy work, more of us have to spend our money on acquiring better audio capabilities. This is where the new Sennheiser HD450BT wireless headphones suddenly become relevant.
The SongHizer HD450BT features an ear design with a soft ear cup and headband. If you want to carry it in your bag, the headset can fold itself, not these days we are going anywhere. The controls are all on the right earrings, packed one after another into a slightly confusing arch. The power button also switches on noise-canceling, the volume control and navigation are in a toggle and the voice assistant is another button. So much to remember.
The design makes the headphones very comfortable to wear for a long time. However, this Adelphi becomes slightly warm inside the earrings in summer. But foam ensures that after a while you forget that you are wearing headphones. Also, before you switch on headphones, you realize that the cups can keep a lot of noise away.
The battery lasts for about 30 hours on a full charge and I did not need to charge the HD450BT for the week I used it.
In the last few weeks, I have become accustomed to noise-canceling in away. My part of Delhi is so quiet that you can hear the children crying in the distant apartment block and an empty metro train seems like a scene at a pace about their futile journey. But I still need to cancel out the noise to be able to cut home cacophony, all soft, but still noises we are not used to while working. The Sennheiser HD450BT has very good noise cancellation, especially when you consider that it is not really a high-end option like we are used to from Sennheiser. It takes the farthest of drones like Fan and my riot old AC, but I can still see my wife going about her zoom call and seeing my son the Avengers for n-th time.
The audio quality is as good as you’d expect from Sennheiser – rich, deep, and still accurate. Farid Farzad’s violin engulfs your mind, taking you to the Persian carpet skipping over your memories. And when you sing Jalan in the scene with Suresh Wadkar, you think of his sharp voice in his current style. But then you are also wondering why the amazing song of the 1980s did not have better recording quality. The HD450BT is perfectly balanced, it does not dominate its bass or loudness. As Landon Austin and Megan Davis play Heroes, you hear every note of their guitar, the way they recorded.
The design makes the headphones very comfortable to wear for a long time.
The HD450BT provides one-tap access to Siri and Google Assistant. And it’s a great idea to ask one of the two to play a song that suddenly pops into your mind. Headphones can also be good for calls. But while making the call I realized that the audio profile is changing drastically, it is almost unnatural. When you can hear everything being said, it still sounds like you are speaking from a secluded room. It sounds a bit better when you switch to noise cancellation for calls. However, the audio quality on the other hand is quite good.
The battery lasts for about 30 hours on a full charge and I did not need to charge the HD450BT for the week I used it. While this may not be a biggie problem with people trapped in the house, it will be huge when humans go back on the trip. You can technically go to New York and take care of all your entertainment once charged.
The HD450BT provides one-tap access to Siri and Google Assistant.
Priced at Rs 14,990, the Sennheiser HD450BT is a good value for money headphones that offers top-end audio quality, noise cancellation, and voice support. For those spending hours on a conference call, this is a great option to work from home and relax later.
